3. Child Rearing Support
Child Rearing Support Center and the Child Rearing Land Abe are institutions that support families in raising their child. Many people use the facilities for consultations on child rearing, information on daycare services, or playgrounds. The facilities are often full of people when the weather is not good.

- ☆Playroom
- Playrooms are exchange places where children who have no one to play with near them can come and play with other children. Also, guardians can talk with each other.
Time Monday to Saturday 8:30～12:00 and 13:00～16:30 - ☆Child Consultation
- It is possible to receive advice for matters on child rearing that are worrying you.
(This can include Sleep, Breast-feeding, Weaning, Nutrition, Excretion, Health, Language, Discipline, Self-support, etc.)

Phone consultations Monday to Friday 9:00～16:30 - ☆Child Rearing Courses are also offered to give information on child rearing and health matters.
Child Rearing Land Abe, Parent/Child Plaza
The Child Rearing Land Abe is an institution that promotes parent-child interaction and gives support to child rearing.

Family Support Center
This is a membership organization for people who want help raising their children (user members) and staff who assist with childcare (cooperative members and volunteers). This organization can care for your child in the following situations:
- after kindergarten or daycare.
- when unexpected circumstances arise or when you need to go out.
- when your usual daycare or kindergarten is on holiday.
- ☆Information about becoming a user member (people who would like to be supported)
- People living and working in Yamagata City
- Parents or guardians with children from infants to the 6th year of elementary school.
- ☆ Usage Fees
- From 7:00 to 19:00, 1 hour = 700 yen; Outside the above mentioned schedule and national holidays, 1 hour = 800 yen; cost for food and other expenses will be decided through discussion.
