1. Emergency Medical Attention
Sickness incurred during holidays and during the night can be quite distressing for parents. Due to this fact, the Yamagata City Physicians’ Association and Dentists’ Association have set up holiday and night medical and dental clinics on the first floor of the Yamagata City Physicians’ Assembly Hall (Yamagata-shi Ishi Kaikan) in case of emergency.
Night/Holiday clinic
The Night/Holiday Clinic is for emergencies that arise in the evenings after regular business hours and on holidays. You can also consult with the clinic on the phone during their business hours. A resident physician in pediatrics is always available.

Parking: Please use the Yamagata City Medical Center’s Parking Garage, for which you will receive a parking voucher. If this parking area is full, you can also use Kasumi Yamagata Parking. However, Kasumi Yamagata Parking is only open until 22:00, so please take this into consideration when you use this parking garage.
Holiday dental clinic
Please use the Dental Clinic in case of a dental emergency during a holiday. You can also consult with the clinic on the telephone.

Pediatric Emergency Telephone Consultation
For Yamagata prefecture, in the case of sudden illness like a high fever or diarrhea, a professional experienced nurse can be consulted by telephone regarding medical institutions for examination or advice on dealing with the illness at home.
